  • About:

My name is Daniel “DJ Jarak” Wysocki and I am the owner/operator of Aperture Star Creations. I have been a photographer, graphic designer, and digital artist since I was a pre-teen. I have worked under a number of professional labels since the mid 1990’s but none other as proficiently as Aperture Star Creations. Now, let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I’ve moved around a little and have traveled a bit but always end up back home for one reason or another. I am also a geek - a true geek. I have been one all my life, long before it became cool. I love it all. Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dune, Labyrinth, Legend, etc. If it is either science fiction or fantasy, changes are that I’ve seen it, own it, and I love it. Here is another thing. I’m an Aspie. That is a name we, people diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome call ourselves. Like being a geek, I wasn't diagnosed due to it being the cool thing to do. I was diagnosed almost 10 years ago before more people knew what it even was. While it is classified as a disability, there are number of benefits which come from it such as honesty and hypersensitivity. Sometimes it is damn near a super power. Look it up for more information. Along with my promotional design business, I have many other things to keep me busy such as acting. I’ve done some extra work in a few local productions and have a few more lined up. I also do some modeling. Nothing mainstream but I am in the process of starting a huge male plus-size fashion campaign a number of very talented photographers have jumped into with both feet such as Mark Callen of Mark Callen Photography and Kat D of Shutterkat Photography.
